A bike workshop in Yverdon-les-Bains needed a website that takes bookings by itself, and a back-office to run the shop: who comes when, which bike is ready, what has been paid. Delivered in 14 days, self-hosted, no monthly software fees.
Bookings came in by phone and lived in a paper agenda. Nobody had an overview of which repairs were done, invoiced or paid. Bikes for sale and rentals were listed nowhere.
Off-the-shelf booking tools were either too generic for a workshop with two mechanics, or priced per month, forever.
One website and one back-office, in French with German, English and Italian. Customers pick their services, see real free slots and book. The shop confirms, plans per mechanic, marks the bike ready — and a billing card appears, waiting to be moved from “to invoice” to “paid”.
Everything runs on one small server the shop owns. No SaaS, no per-seat pricing, no data leaving the country.
INSIDE THE BACK-OFFICE
Requests from the website land here with a status. Confirm or refuse in one click — the client gets an email in their own language. Search by name, phone, reference or service.
Open a booking and everything is there: the client's bike, the services chosen, the assigned mechanic, internal notes. Add a part or bill by the hour. When the bike is ready, one button notifies the client.
“Bike ready” automatically creates a card on the billing board. Drag it from To invoice to Paid to Booked to Closed; every move is logged with a timestamp, so end-of-month is a glance, not an archaeology dig.
Anyone who ever booked, asked for a test ride, rented a bike, signed up for a ride or sent a message — de-duplicated by email and phone, with their history. Export the addresses for a mailing in one click.
Bikes for sale, rental bikes, portfolio builds, team, partner brands. Photos straight from an iPhone (HEIC included), converted and resized on upload. Descriptions in four languages, spec sheets, featured picks for the homepage.
Opening hours, mechanics and their colours, closure days, removed slots. Vaud public holidays are computed automatically. The booking form on the site only ever offers slots that are really free.
